St Pat’s Support the NSPCC
Emma Griffin visited St Patrick’s recently to tell the children about the work of the NSPCC (National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children). She lead assemblies for the different age groups and set the children a task of raising money for the charity. The children carried out a range of sponsored events and were able to present Emma with £620 for this worthwhile cause when she returned to the school. Headteacher, Steve Dent, was absolutely delighted with the response of the school children and knows that their hard work will help children around the country to be cared for when they need it.
